Apple is updating its Creator Studio subscription with new AI features and creative content for Final Cut Pro. TechRadar reports that the changes will arrive in November as a free update for existing subscribers; Apple has not announced a specific date.
Creator Studio remains priced at $12.99, £12.99 or AU$19.99 per month, or $129, £129 or AU$199 per year. The education plan also stays the same, at $2.99, £2.99 or AU$4.99 per month, or $29.99, £29.99 or AU$49.99 per year. The subscription includes Pages, Numbers, Keynote, Pixelmator Pro, Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro across Mac, iPad and iPhone.
Pixelmator Pro is adding Generate Fill, which lets users select part of an image, describe an addition or change, and have AI make the edit. Keynote, Pages and Numbers are also gaining AI assistants for presentations, documents and spreadsheets. Users will be able to work with OpenAI models alongside Apple’s models, and the apps will support compatible external AI tools.
Final Cut Pro will get MotionVFX content, including thousands of transitions, templates, effects and titles. Apple announced the update alongside new Macs, including an M6-powered iMac and a 14-inch MacBook Pro.
