Anthropic offers startups a free year of Claude Team and $1,000 in credits

Anthropic has expanded its Claude for Startups program, offering qualifying companies a free year of Claude Team and up to five premium seats, along with $1,000 in API credits.

The updated program launched during Anthropic’s SF Tech Week event. Claude Team is Anthropic’s paid plan for groups. Companies in the program can also access Claude Marketplace, where they can build plugins for the service, and book virtual office hours with Anthropic’s Applied AI team.

Anthropic said the program reflects its belief that AI’s benefits will reach most people through companies building on top of models, rather than through models alone. The company also said close partnerships with founders and developers are central to its mission.

Companies qualify if they were founded within the past five years or received funding within the past two years. Interested companies can apply through the Claude for Startups program page.
