Anthropic has launched reporting tools to help companies understand what they get from spending on its AI models. The company announced the tools on Wednesday, according to TechCrunch.
Managers can use internal analytics and employee surveys to review a team’s work over a selected date range, what it produced, how much it cost, and where its workflows broke down. The reports will also recommend ways to improve results. Anthropic says the data will not be used to train models by default. The company is also creating pooled group budgets to help teams manage token spending.
The launch comes as businesses seek clearer ways to assess AI costs. A Jellyfish report based on agentic coding tool use by 276,000 customers found that Claude Code and other tools built on Anthropic models accounted for nearly a third of proposed code changes submitted for review. Spending on those tools had grown 10x since the start of the year and reached about 2% of total engineering costs.
Jellyfish chief scientist Nicholas Arcolano told TechCrunch that the 10x increase was growth many finance chiefs had not planned for. Anthropic’s new reports are aimed at helping customers optimize that spending. Jellyfish AI product lead Nikolas Albarran said Anthropic’s established enterprise workflows and the effort required to switch tools can make adoption harder to dislodge.
