Oracle introduces AI tools to identify service problems early

Oracle has announced a set of AI-powered applications designed to identify customer service problems before they escalate into complaints. The company unveiled the tools at its recent AI World conference.

The new Claw-powered Fusion Agentic Applications for Customer Experience are intended to handle business processes from start to finish, rather than only assist human workers. One application, Service Health Check, is designed to detect emerging issues, investigate their causes, recommend responses and, in some cases, act on them. People remain involved at important decision points.

Service Health Check uses Oracle's Fusion Claw, an agentic execution system launched a few weeks before the announcement. Oracle says it can reason across enterprise data, conduct research, model outcomes and take actions using that context. The application is designed to monitor early signs associated with past drops in customer retention, instead of waiting for complaints.

Oracle says the approach could help businesses address recurring problems before they affect more customers. The company also presents the tools as a way to reduce the time workers spend monitoring dashboards and investigating patterns, allowing them to oversee agent actions and focus on other work.

Applications Development SVP Kartik Raghavan said connecting customer demand with enterprise capacity in time to act remains a challenge. His comment accompanied the company's explanation of why it launched the customer service-focused tools.
