TechRadar reviewer Mark Knapp says the Hisense XR10 delivers a strong picture in both bright and dark rooms. Its RGB lasers provide brightness and color, while an adjustable iris helps improve black levels and contrast in darker viewing conditions.
The projector’s flexible optics include a 0.84:1 to 2:1 throw ratio, 130% vertical lens shift and 46% horizontal lens shift. The review says these adjustments make it easier to position and align the image. The XR10 also has automatic screen fitting and obstacle avoidance, though those features can zoom the image out too far for a small screen.
The XR10 has two HDMI 2.1 ports, one with eARC, plus one HDMI 2.0 port. It also includes Wi-Fi 7 and runs Hisense’s VidaaOS, which offers major streaming apps and Xbox Cloud Gaming but is not Google TV. The review notes that the projector lacks VRR and 4K/120Hz support.
The projector debuted at CES 2026 and began shipping in May. Its US price has fallen from $6,999 to $5,999, with some deals reaching $4,499; the review lists prices of £5,999 and AU$9,999. Knapp praises its design and carrying case, but says its high price and newer competitors make its value less compelling.
