TechRadar’s James Holland reviewed the Bissell CrossWave Reach Plus, a wet-dry vacuum that vacuums and mops at the same time. Holland found it effective on small debris, including crumbs, dog hair, parmesan and coffee grounds, and said its hinged body can lie nearly flat to reach under furniture.
The machine has a 450ml clean-water tank and a 600ml dirty-water tank. Debris and dirty water collect together, which Holland said can make emptying messy. He also found that larger pieces of debris can be difficult to pick up, and rice may catch on the vacuum head when pulling it backward. Pushing it forward picked up the rice in his test.
The CrossWave Reach Plus is listed at $329.99, with a charging tray, two sample bottles of cleaning solution and a measuring cup included. TechRadar says it is the same as the Bissell CrossWave Reach, which costs $279.99 and does not include the charging tray. Holland described the Plus as relatively affordable for a wet-dry vacuum, while noting that it has limitations, including battery life that is not the longest.
