Sony has revealed a limited-edition PS5 DualSense controller inspired by the Gran Turismo series, as the franchise marks its 30th anniversary. The controller has a white and black carbon-fiber-effect design, with racing stripes, badges and other motifs drawn from the games.
Sony says the design is inspired by the craftsmanship and engineering at the heart of Gran Turismo and pays tribute to 30 years of “The Real Driving Simulator.” Its front plate has a textured, carbon-fibre-style finish, paired with motorsport-inspired graphics.
Pre-orders are scheduled to open on October 22, 2026, at 10am ET in the US and 10am local time in Europe. The listed price is $84.99 in the US and £74.99 in the UK. The controller is due to be released on December 10, 2026.
The wording on the PlayStation Blog suggests the controller may be exclusive to PlayStation Direct, though TechRadar’s coverage also listed other retailers where shoppers could check for stock. The source does not confirm exclusivity.
