Unitree Reveals H2-X Robot With an Approximately Eight-Hour Battery Life

Unitree has revealed the H2-X Kung Fu Legend Guardian, a humanoid robot presented in a short video as a personal security guard. The company has not shared specifications or pricing for the model.

The one-minute teaser, released on X and YouTube, shows the robot punching and kneeing cars in a scrapyard. Other scenes depict it jumping in front of its owner during attempted robberies and lifting cars to free people trapped underneath. Unitree says the H2-X can jump from platforms four meters high and stand for “approximately eight hours” between charges.

The article describes the video as a technology demonstration rather than a consumer product showcase. It says the H2-X appears to be a separate project from an H2+ robotics blueprint announced at Computex 2026 by Unitree, Nvidia and Sharpa, with Nvidia providing training data and its Jetson AGX Thor T5000 chip.

For comparison, the similar Unitree H2 is 1.8 meters tall, has an optional Nvidia Jetson AGX Thor chip and costs $29,900. Unitree has been asked for more details on the H2-X’s specifications and price, but had not responded when the article was written. The source says the H2-X would face consumer certification hurdles before it could reach the market as a personal bodyguard; Unitree has not commented on its future plans.

The report also notes Unitree’s August 2026 IPO and a 55% fall from its peak the following month. Reuters reported that the decline apparently prompted China to slow a rush of humanoid-robot IPOs.
