Intel senior vice president Cho Min-sung said its next-generation Razor Lake-AX system-on-chips will launch in 2028 and deliver up to 700 TOPS of AI compute, according to Wccftech.
Cho made the remarks during the “Semiconductors Powering Humanoids” seminar in Samseong-dong, South Korea. He also confirmed that Intel’s Nova Lake and Razor Lake SoCs are scheduled to arrive in 2027 and 2028, respectively.
Wccftech reports that Razor Lake-AX’s 700 TOPS figure represents 3.88 times the AI compute of Panther Lake. The source does not provide further details about the chips or explain how that comparison was calculated.
The announcement sets out Intel’s stated launch timing and AI compute target for Razor Lake-AX. Additional specifications and launch details were not included in the report.
