NVIDIA DLSS 5 Runs 30% Faster and Uses 20% Less VRAM

NVIDIA says its latest DLSS 5 model runs 30% faster and uses 20% less video memory (VRAM) than the previous version. The company also announced that the technology will come to Hogwarts Legacy and Where Winds Meet in November.

According to NVIDIA, the model releasing this month is twice as fast as the version first unveiled in March during GTC 2026. The company also said a September release was already much faster, though the source does not specify the comparison behind that description.
