CMF, Nothing’s sub-brand, has launched its first portable speakers: Speaker S and Speaker M. Their milk carton-inspired design sets them apart visually, according to TechRadar’s Rowan Davies.
Speaker S is the smaller model, priced at $59 / £49. It has a 45mm driver and two passive radiators. Speaker M costs $109 / $99 and has a stated frequency range of 60Hz–20kHz. Both come in white, dark grey, orange, and turquoise.
The two speakers offer 18 hours of playback at 50% volume with Ultra Bass on. A 10-minute fast charge provides an hour of playback. Both support Bluetooth 6.0, with a connection range of over 100 metres, and can connect to two devices.
Stereo Mode pairs two Speaker S or two Speaker M units as left and right channels. Party Mode can pair the two models together and, according to TechRadar, compatible speakers from other brands. The front panels are removable and can be swapped for panels in another shade. CMF also provides a guide for 3D printing custom panels and volume knobs.
