IKEA Stengrönska alarm clock adds wireless charging and room readings

IKEA’s Stengrönska is an alarm clock that also works as a wireless phone charger and displays temperature and humidity readings. The device measures 17 cm × 16 cm × 3.6 cm.

Its screen has an adjustable backlight and can show the time in either 24-hour or 12-hour format, along with the date and day of the week. Users can set up to three alarms and adjust their volume. The snooze interval is fixed at nine minutes, according to TechRadar.

A USB-C port on the back lets users charge another device by cable. IKEA says the clock can help reduce reliance on a mobile phone. The product is currently on sale only in Japan and China. TechRadar reports a Japan price of ¥4,999, approximately $32, £24 or AU$45, and says it has asked IKEA about availability in other markets.
