Meta has added native iPad support to Muse, its iOS app for an AI agent. The update arrived nearly a month after Muse launched and after the app spent several weeks as the top free app in Apple’s App Store, according to The Verge.
The iPad version is expected to work much like Muse on iPhones, while making better use of the tablet’s larger screen and iPadOS multitasking. The latest release notes mention iPad support in a single line. They also list updates for iPhone, including connections to Canva, Dropbox, Figma, QuickBooks, GitHub, Zoom, Asana and Klaviyo, plus new connectors for Granola and Notion.
The update targets small business owners with an option to give Muse a business goal. The agent can then plan marketing, client pitches and the development of new product pages. Meta released a Mac version about a week after the original mobile app debuted; it can handle desktop tasks such as organizing files.
The Verge notes that Meta took 15 years to release a dedicated Instagram app for iPad. Meta has also announced Muse Charm, a standalone, Tamagotchi-like device intended to run the agent without a smartphone, and is working to bring Muse to its smart glasses.
