The TDM Neo, a pair of headphones that twists into a loudspeaker, is now available to buy, nine months after it was revealed at CES 2026 in January, according to TechRadar. The publication says it first tested the device at the event.
As of Tuesday, October 6, the TDM Neo is available from retailers including Amazon, TDM’s website and Walmart. It costs $249 / £249 (about AU$500). The product uses a twisting mechanism to switch between headphone and speaker modes.
The device has four 40mm speakers: two in the headphone module, positioned against the ears, and two facing outward for speaker mode. It also has multiple microphones for calls in headphone mode. TechRadar reports battery life of up to 200 hours in headphone mode and 16 hours as a speaker. The headphones weigh 340g.
Other features include control buttons, a find-my feature, a low-latency gaming mode and separate EQ settings for the two modes. TechRadar’s initial testing found the design considered rather than gimmicky, but the publication said it still wanted to test how the twisting mechanism holds up over time. A full review was not yet available in the source.
