Another Skywell ET5 Reportedly Catches Fire in Turkey

Another fully electric Skywell ET5 reportedly caught fire in Ankara’s Çankaya district yesterday, according to a report relayed by Manşet Haber.

The incident follows two Skywell ET5 fires reported last month: one involving a vehicle moving in Tekirdağ and another involving a parked vehicle in İzmir’s Torbalı district.

Journalist Taylan Özgür Dil, who has followed the issue, said the Torbalı vehicle belonged to a friend. In a post about that incident, Dil said his friend had told him a month earlier that the news had made him concerned and that he had been parking outdoors. Dil added that his friend said no software had been installed on the vehicle. He wrote that he was sorry to hear about the fire.
