Grokipedia gets a refreshed design in v0.3 update

Grokipedia, SpaceXAI’s AI-powered competitor to Wikipedia, has received design changes in a v0.3 update. The update adds a new logo and refreshes the homepage, live edits page, and article pages. SpaceXAI head of design Benji Taylor described it as a “newly refreshed Grokipedia.”

The homepage now features lists of featured and most-read articles, along with a tracker of the latest edits. The featured articles appear as digital books that users can spin around, while the most-read list uses a horizontally scrolling shelf of book spines. The redesigned live edits page makes more recent changes visible at once.

Article pages have updated tables at the top that show key facts, as well as tighter line spacing. The Verge’s Jay Peters writes that the articles otherwise look largely the same, based on his assessment.

Grokipedia launched in v0.1 in late October 2025 with AI-cloned pages from Wikipedia, followed by a v0.2 update a month later. Earlier this year, it appeared to stop receiving updates. In an August report, Lawfare said that, as far as it could tell, no entry had changed in more than three months. The recent changes suggest some renewed interest in Grokipedia inside SpaceXAI, though the company had not immediately responded to The Verge’s request for comment.
