The Corsair Harpoon V2 Wireless is a well-built gaming mouse with a comfortable shape, strong battery life and wireless connectivity. Its compact size may make it uncomfortable for people with larger hands.
The V2 is the second version of Corsair’s Harpoon RGB Wireless. It has a redesigned casing and updated internal components. The review describes it as a competitively priced option for low-latency wireless gaming, with a balanced weight and textured sides that help with grip.
Its asymmetrical shape is designed for right-handed use, and there is no left-handed version. The mouse has two main buttons, two thumb buttons, a rubber scroll wheel and a button behind the wheel that switches DPI profiles by default. The main buttons are rated for 100 million clicks. Corsair’s Marksman sensor supports up to 26,000 DPI.
The reviewer found the mouse short compared with two models they use regularly, the Logitech G Pro X2 Superstrike and NZXT Lift Elite. Using a palm grip, their fingers sat too far forward, so they switched to a claw grip that became uncomfortable during longer sessions. The reviewer also found the rear thumb button less intuitive to press.
Settings such as DPI presets, RGB lighting and button macros can be adjusted in Corsair’s downloadable iCue software or through the browser-based Corsair Web Hub, which requires no additional software installation. The review also notes that the removable rear foot can trap debris.
