Anthropic offers up to $250 in Claude Code cloud-session credits

Anthropic is offering eligible Claude subscribers promotional credits for using Claude Code in cloud sessions, which run on Anthropic’s infrastructure instead of a user’s computer. The sessions were previously available to some users through a research preview.

Eligible Pro subscribers receive $100 in credits, while Max subscribers receive $250. The credits are separate from regular Claude usage limits and apply automatically when a cloud session starts. Anthropic said users who reach a local limit can continue in the cloud until their credit runs out.

Subscribers can claim the offer on Claude’s website by October 7. Any unused balance expires on November 4. After the promotional credits are used up, cloud sessions count against the subscriber’s normal plan limits. Anthropic says there is no separate charge for the cloud container.

The promotion is limited to individual Pro and Max subscribers who had an active subscription when it began on September 23. Cloud sessions let users start a task remotely and return later to review the work. The source says sessions can be started from claude.ai/code, the Code section of the Claude mobile app, the desktop app, or the CLI with claude --cloud.
