Science Corporation CEO Max Hodak is scheduled to discuss screen-free interfaces at the Beyond Screens session during TechCrunch Disrupt 2026. The event will take place at Moscone West in San Francisco on October 13–15.
According to TechCrunch, Hodak will argue that future interfaces could adapt to people through brain-computer interactions rather than relying on screens. Science Corporation has enlisted a top neurobiologist to lead its first U.S. human trials for a biohybrid brain-computer interface.
TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 is expected to bring together 10,000+ founders, investors and startup community members across 250 sessions. AI-focused programming will run across six industry stages.
TechCrunch reports that Science Corporation’s PRIMA implant has restored eyesight in people with severe vision loss. The system uses glasses with a tiny camera that sends captured scenes to a chip implanted in the retina.
Hodak co-founded Neuralink in 2016 and served as its initial president. He founded Science Corporation in 2021. The company has raised $230 million in a Series C round at a $1.5 billion valuation. Hodak has also described possible applications involving damaged brain cells, seizure warnings and possibly Parkinson’s disease, but these remain stated ambitions.
TechCrunch says passes can save buyers up to $200 before September 25, while group registrations can save up to 30%.
