Discord appears to be down for some users

Discord appears to be experiencing an outage affecting some users, according to a report by TechRadar. The gaming chat service has prompted reports from users who say they cannot access the app.

The affected regions remain unclear. In the UK, TechRadar reported being unable to open Discord’s desktop application. The mobile app appeared to be working at the time, allowing messages to be sent and received.

Users in the US also appeared to be experiencing problems, with several posting complaints on X. One user wrote that Discord went down just as they were about to text someone; the post had already received hundreds of likes.

At the beginning of the apparent outage, Discord’s official status page reported that all servers were operational. The page was later updated to identify an issue with “session availability” and said that Discord’s team was investigating.

The report described the situation as developing, so the duration and full scope of the disruption were not yet clear.
