OpenAI reportedly buys camera-focused Glass Imaging

OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT, has reportedly acquired US-based Glass Imaging for approximately 300 million dollars, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Founded by former Apple employees Ziv Attar and Tom Bishop, Glass Imaging is redesigning phone-camera image-processing systems with artificial intelligence. The company is developing specialized technologies intended to convert RAW data from sensors into photos and videos with as high a quality as possible.
