FamilyTime Premium is a parental-control app with screen-time, app, website, location-tracking, and geofencing tools. Its semi-consensual design includes a transparent app for a child’s device, where they can view their screen-time allowances.
There are three plans: My Family covers one device, My Family 3 covers three, and My Family 5 covers five. They cost $2.41 per month, billed at $29 annually; $4.08 per month, billed at $49 annually; and $5.75 per month, billed at $69 annually, respectively. All three plans include the same features.
A 3-day free trial is available, but it excludes some social media monitoring, text-message access, and call viewing. FamilyTime Premium’s Balance feature supports daily and individual app limits. Screen Schedule sets restricted periods, while Scheduled Internet blocks internet access for a specific time. Time Bank carries unused allowances forward: a child allowed five hours who uses three hours can carry two hours forward. Family Pause can lock the device immediately.
Parents can block apps and age-sensitive websites, allow approved apps, and use search filters. SOS Panic Button sends an alert, while PickMeUp Request supports pickup planning. Visibility tools include contacts, texts, call logs, installed apps, web history, social media activity on WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok, Twitch, and Signal, plus live-map location and zone alerts.
FamilyTime works on Android and iOS. Installation requires physical access to the child’s device, and the FamilyTime Junior and FamilyTime Dashboard apps link by scanning a QR code.
