Alienware’s AW3926QW is a 39-inch ultrawide OLED gaming monitor with 5K2K native resolution, or 5,120 by 2,160 pixels. It uses LG’s Tandem WOLED panel technology with RGB-stripe subpixels, supporting strong image quality but slightly lower brightness.
The monitor costs $1,099 in the US and £999 in the UK. Its closest rival, LG’s 39-inch 5K2K UltraGear Evo GX9 39GX950B, has an MSRP of $1,799. The Alienware also offers a glossy coating, while the LG uses a matte screen.
Its main limitation is a 165 Hz refresh rate, below the 240 Hz available from many 32-inch 4K OLED monitors. However, the high resolution creates substantial GPU load, and lower-resolution dual-mode options can reach 330 Hz. The display is aimed more at general gaming and daily computing than high-frame-rate esports.
Other specifications include 300 nits full-screen brightness, 1,300 nits peak HDR brightness, HDMI 2.1 x2, DisplayPort 2.1a, USB-C with 90W power delivery, and a USB hub with KVM. The 1500R curve, adjustable stand, burn-in mitigation, and three-year burn-in warranty complete a feature-rich package.
