Beyerdynamic’s DT 30 IE are wired in-ear monitors with clear sound, impressive bass and a comfortable fit. They use 11mm dynamic drivers, offer passive noise cancellation rated up to -39dB, and have an IP54 dust- and water-resistance rating.
Their bass is the standout feature. It sounds meaty and dynamic without obscuring vocals or drums, while overall sound remains clear across the frequency range. The mids can lack some texture and detail, and the treble is controlled but less articulate than some rivals. The Sennheiser IE 200 delivers better top-end clarity and a more natural lead-vocal presentation.
The DT 30 IE include multiple ear tips, a detachable cable and an MMCX connection, but they use only a 3.5mm option and have no in-line volume controls. Their compact, comfortable design works well for longer listening, although the translucent plastic casing feels less premium than the Meze Audio Alba.
