Alienware Announces Two New QD-OLED Gaming Monitors

Alienware has announced two gaming monitors that expand its QD-OLED lineup: the AW3226Q and AW2527HX.

The AW3226Q is a 32-inch 4K monitor with an RGB stripe tandem OLED panel. Alienware says it uses the same technology as the flagship AW3926QW 5K2K ultrawide. The RGB stripe layout is designed to improve text readability compared with other OLED layouts. The AW3226Q will also offer 1,000 nits of peak brightness, DisplayHDR True Black 400, and Dolby Vision. Its four-stack tandem OLED layer is intended to support higher and more consistent brightness.

The main difference from the AW3926QW is resolution. The ultrawide monitor has 5K2K resolution and 33% more pixels than 4K because of its wider aspect ratio. Alienware previously announced a price of $1,099 / £999 / AU$1,999.80 for the AW3926QW.

The AW3226Q has no confirmed release date, although availability is scheduled for this fall. The AW2527HX is a 560Hz QD-OLED monitor aimed at esports players and is scheduled to launch in the first quarter of 2027. Alienware has not confirmed its price.
