Ugreen has launched HomeAgent, a smart home platform that combines security camera storage, on-device AI, and device control in one locally managed system.
The platform uses a hub as the central controller and includes the Uliya voice assistant for natural-language commands. Ugreen says three hub configurations store data locally and process video on-device, without monthly storage fees. However, push notifications and remote camera viewing require internet access, and Uliya can also use the cloud.
HomeAgent features include cross-camera tracking, alerts for people, vehicles, pets, and packages, AI-powered video search, event descriptions, and voice control for devices and automations. The hub can also store personal files such as music, movies, and photos.
The HomeAgent HA100 supports basic rule-based automation. The HA100 Pro adds semantic and context-aware understanding, while the MasterAgent MA100 uses an NVIDIA Jetson Thor T5000 platform for higher local computing power. The MA100 offers up to 2,070 TFLOPS of AI performance.
The system supports Matter and third-party connections through Wi-Fi, Zigbee, Thread, Bluetooth, NFC, ONVIF/RTSP, and PoE. Ugreen will launch HomeAgent on Kickstarter in October with discounted early-bird pricing. Full retail pricing has not been announced.
