Surfshark Relaunches Beta Tester Program for Windows and Android

Surfshark has relaunched its Beta Tester Program, giving active subscribers early access to unreleased features, design changes and app updates on Windows and Android.

The program invites participants to test work-in-progress tools and report bugs or other issues before public releases. Testers are also invited to a private Discord hub for direct, two-way conversations with Surfshark developers and other participants.

Surfshark says tester feedback will influence feature improvements and the development of new products. “Oftentimes, we are buried so deep into our product that we don't see the small details or inconveniences,” said Gabriele Sinkeviciute, Head of Product at Surfshark.

The company described the program as a volunteer effort with no financial reward. Participants can opt out at any time, and early builds may contain bugs.

Any active Surfshark subscriber can join, regardless of plan. On Windows, users can open the app, go to Settings > App settings, scroll to Beta Testing and click Join Beta. On Android, users can open Surfshark’s page in the Google Play Store, find the Join Beta section and tap Join. After enrollment, participants receive an invitation to the private Discord hub.
