Chinese company Sugon has released the N50 Pro laptop, which it calls the “Thread Beast.” According to Wccftech, the system features a mobile CPU with up to 64 threads, a specification described as the world’s first of its kind.
Current high-end laptop CPUs from Intel and AMD offer up to 32 threads, making the N50 Pro’s claimed 64-thread configuration twice that number. The laptop is aimed at AI and professional workloads, according to the report.
The N50 Pro also combines 128 GB of RAM with 8 TB of storage. Its graphics configuration includes a 16 GB GPU, although the source does not identify the GPU model.
