NymVPN 2026.12 adds one-click connections and new pricing

TechRadar reports that NymVPN has released version 2026.12 with connection, anti-censorship, language, and subscription changes across its desktop and mobile apps.

According to the Nym Core Team, the update reworks the WireGuard handshake for faster, more stable cellular connections and adds a new onboarding flow. One-click connection options include “Safest,” which selects a strong-performing server in a nearby country, plus “Random,” “Favorites,” and “Recents.”

For desktop users on macOS, Windows, and Linux, NymVPN is officially launching geo-exclusion alongside split tunneling. Geo-exclusion can route an app’s traffic differently by destination. The feature currently supports Chinese IPs, with more countries planned. On Android, a camouflage icon can hide the app behind an alternative logo in device settings.

The release adds five languages: Traditional Chinese, Traditional Chinese (Hong Kong), Japanese, Italian, and Indonesian. NymVPN is also changing its subscriptions, introducing a six-month plan at $6 per month while keeping the monthly plan at $8. The two-year plan is being retired, and the one-year plan at $4 per month is now described as the best value. Existing two-year subscribers keep their current plan, which will renew as a one-year plan when it expires.

The roadmap includes QR-code activation, geo-exclusion for Russia, and customizable entry-and-exit server profiles.
