Minisforum Introduces MS-S1 MAX-P495 Mini PC With Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495

Minisforum has announced the MS-S1 MAX-P495, a mini PC built around AMD’s Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 SoC. The company positions the system as a high-performance platform for AI computing, real-time AI inference, and edge AI workloads.

The mini PC uses a 16-core/32-thread Gorgon Halo processor and includes 192 GB of memory. Minisforum says the system can deliver up to 131 TOPS of AI performance, allowing it to run 300B large language models locally.

The MS-S1 MAX-P495 also includes a dedicated PCIe x16 slot for expansion cards. That slot gives the system an option for additional hardware, while the integrated Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 SoC handles the computer’s main processing duties.
