KitchenAid has released the Design Series Luminaire Stand Mixer, a new model with a fluted hardened-glass bowl and integrated light. The combination gives the bowl a faceted, jewel-like appearance on the kitchen counter.
KitchenAid says the hardened glass is tough enough for everyday baking and tasks such as tempering chocolate. The mixer includes stainless steel accessories: a double flex-edge beater, dough hook, wire whip, and flat beater. All are dishwasher-safe.
The mixer body comes in Peppercorn Blue, a new shade that coordinates with KitchenAid’s official color of 2026, the soft green Spearmint. KitchenAid is also making a limited run of 36-Inch Luminaire Commercial-Style Ranges in Peppercorn Blue, with only five units planned. Cookware in the same color will also be available.
The Luminaire follows earlier Design Series products such as the Evergreen model, which combined a matte green chassis with a walnut wood bowl. KitchenAid’s new mixer takes a noticeably different, jewel-inspired approach.
The Design Series Luminaire Mixer is available from September 15 directly from KitchenAid for $699.99, approximately £520 or AU$980.
